The combined GWA 2 X 4 Contest and Picnic is being held at 4650 Peachtree Industrial Blvd, Norcross this year between 10:00AM and 12:00PM. Tickets are $10 per person (Children under 16 free). The 2X4 contest and audience judging will begin at 10:00AM. Food will be catered by the world famous Ricky Alexander and crew between 11:00 and 12:00. Attendees may bring a desert if they like. Bring your show and tell items for the GWA picnic. This gives an opportunity for spouses to see other peoples woodwork.
The 2 x 4 contest is one of the major contests of Gwinnett Woodworkers. The objective is to show others your imaginative use of a construction grade 2 x 4 stud (8 feet long). Up to 15% non wood material is permitted.
