On May 9, we’ll welcome Brandon Christian for a session focused on the craft of bow making. This is a great opportunity to learn how traditional bow‑building techniques translate into a modern woodworking shop, and to see the tools, materials, and steps involved in shaping a functional bow from raw stock.
Brandon will walk through his overall process, discuss the considerations that go into selecting wood, and demonstrate the key shaping and refinement stages that bring a bow to life. Whether you’re curious about the fundamentals, interested in trying a bow‑making project yourself, or simply enjoy seeing a skilled craftsperson at work, this session should offer plenty of practical insight.
More details will be shared as Brandon finalizes his outline, but you can expect a hands‑on, informative presentation that highlights both technique and craftsmanship.
