Design and making a Native flute by Bob Aldeia

Bob is quite masterful at building native American flutes.  He and his son enter contests each year with other flute artists and frequently receive awards.  Bob will explain the process he uses to create the blank and then place the various holes and ports necessary for the piece to produce its musical notes.  Once the instrument is functional, users then add embelishment to decorate and personalize the flute.
