Designing and making a Scroll Saw/turned Ornament.

Bob Brokaw will demonstrate how to use a picture to create a set of silhouette plaques to apply to a core for a turned Christmas ornament.  You've no doubt seen the wooden Christmas ornament globes that have 4 cameos on the surface.  This class will show how the cameos start out as a plaque and proceed to an inlaid silhouette.  Bob will explain how to select or take a picture suitable to turn into a silhouette.  The silhouette is then set into a pattern to create a stack cut inlaid plaque.   At GWA, the most popular program to render the patterns is DeltaCAD.  Bob will explain the steps necessary to import the picture, trace it, size it and create the pattern
