The Great Bamboo Challenge

This will be a variation on the 2x4 contest in that the membership will compete using bamboo as a building material. At least 75% (by area) of your project must be using bamboo (Up to three 8 foot lengths of bamboo are available - more if we have any left over). Any area of woodworking is open so turners, scrollers, flatworkers all are welcome. Entries will be voted on in 4 categories - creativity, practical usefulness, fit and finish, and most marketable potential. This is a creativity challenge to try to find some sort of use for Louis Alexander overabundance of bamboo on his property.
