Today's class will held at the shop of GWA member Louis Alexander, 23 Bailey Dr. S.W. Lilburn,GA 30047.
Rick Clark owner of Wood Genesis in McDonough will demonstrate milling lumber from logs using a Woodmizer LT40 bandsaw mill. Rick will show us the different types of cuts and how to get the most yield from a log. Knowing what's involved in getting a log to lumber may open up more possibilities for you to pick up wood that may have otherwise gone to waste.
