So how does a chip carver make Christmas ornaments? Mickey is a master chip carver but that is only a small part of his woodworking. All of his beautiful boxes have to be designed and built before the carving begins. Mickey will demonstrate his method of designing, turning, and then chip carving his Christmas ornaments.
