As woodworkers we all use several types of electric motors. Unless we are wanting "more power" we normally don't think about the motors until they stop working start giving us problems. Ed will give us a better understanding of our options. Swap the motor with another from other equipment? Maybe but the requirements may be too far off. Can the motor be rebuilt? Does it need new brushes or should it spend time in the time out trash can and be replaced.
