Hardwoods Incorporated will have their first annual "Woodtoberfest" from 8AM to 2PM at their facility at 5400 Riverview Road in Mableton, GA (exit 15 on I285.) This event promises to be a woodworkers extravaganza combining features of a customer appreciation day, a picnic, a tool swap, and a craft show. Hardwoods Inc. has acquired a new supplier for exotic woods and will be offering these products at special pricing. They will also be offering seldom seen lots of lumber like quilted maple and spalted maple at deeply discounted prices. In addition to the picnic, there will be drawings for many power tool gifts and other give aways.
GWA will have an exhibit space much like "The Woodworking Show". Members are encouraged to bring items for show and tell. Members will be demonstrating scroll saw and lathe crafts.
