Ricky and Bob will discuss the practical side of applying finish to new pieces - mostly with flatwork in mind. We'll discuss solvent based lacquers, WB finishes, spray setups, how to adjust the finish for a better spray, how to set up and adjust the gun, pressure pots, wipe on finishes. We will actually have a pot setup there to show how to adjust a conversion gun and typical problems and how to adjust for them. Bob will show some fool proof ways to apply a simple finish to new work. Along the way he wil cover how to put a new finish on old work.

This event will be outdoors at Rob Austin's shop. High VOC finishes will be demonstrated.
